Device for CT-guided core needle biopsy. The device allows free positioning of the biopsy instrument, limited only by the slightly elevated border of the table and the gantry. The biopsy instrument shown is a BARD disposable core biopsy instrument “Monopty”. Other instruments and different kinds of syringes can be attached as well
