The antibacterial time-kill curve of cefquinome in the tissue-cage model. Two days after infection, seven doses (0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1, 2, 4 mg/kg) of cefquinome were given twice a day for 3 days (indicated by the arrow). The bacterial count in the tissue-cage fluid was monitored every 12 h, prior to every drug administration during the whole treatment and 12 h, 24 h and 36 h after the last treatment. The values are means ± standard deviations (two piglets, four tissue-cages)
