Experiment 3: Isotype profile of antibodies against S. suis serotype 7 in sows after recall vaccination. Blood samples were collected at 3 weeks and 1 week before farrowing from 12 vaccinated and 11 non-vaccinated gilts from Experiment 2 that received a 4th vaccine dose prior their 3rd or 4th parity. The vaccination protocol is shown in Fig. 1. IgM (a), IgG1 (b) and IgG2 (c) titers were determined by ELISA. Individual antibody titers are shown with horizontal bars representing mean ± SEM. Values significantly different are shown in the graph with corresponding P value
