Mavacoxib is better than carprofen at inhibiting colony forming ability of KTOSA5 cells (A) and CSKOS cells (B) independent of CD34 status. Cells were treated with the indicated doses of either mavacoxib or carprofen and colony formation was assayed. Number of colonies per plate was counted.
