  1. The number of CSF-1R expressing cells obtained with FACS Aria II (Becton Dickinson). The number of cells which express CSF-1R is significantly decreased after the csf-1r specific siRNA treatment and significantly increased after treatment with CSF-1 at the dose of 25, 50 and 100 ng/ml (no significant differences between these doses have been observed). Treatment of cells with non-coding siRNA did not cause any effect. The experiment has been conducted in three replicates. P<0.05 was regarded as significant and marked as *, whereas p<0.01 and p<0.001 was regarded as highly significant and marked as * and ***, respectively. One-way ANOVA followed by Tukey HSD post-hoc test were applied.
