Recombination analysis using the Recco method. The ankA open reading frame of clusters I (red), II (yellow), III (green), IV (light blue), and V (dark blue) is shown. Underneath clusters II, IV, and V the conservative solutions from the analysis without repeats and gaps is demonstrated. Each solution is defined by the calculated recombination breakpoints and the sequence most similar to the putative recombinant between the breakpoints. The hypotheses were generated using the Recco method [41].
