The construction schemes used to produce the plasmids used for protein expression in this study. The full and subunit viral protein genes of CAV, which are represented as different color boxes, were cloned into the pGEX-4T-1 expression vector, which has a Tac promoter and GST tag protein. VP1 (red box) and VP3 (purple box) means codon-optimized VP1 and VP3 protein genes that have been modified by rare codon optimization as described in previous reports [14, 15].
